Amanda started out in the music industry early 90’s spending 10 years working for EMI/Parlophone Records, before becoming the company’s Head of Artist Relations and later went on to work for Virgin Records in Los Angeles. During this time Amanda’s worked with world renown artists including Blur, Tina Turner, Radiohead, Paul McCartney, Wham, Queen, Kate Bush, Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran and Richard Marx & David Bowie to name a few.
After her tenure in the US, Amanda set up the Celebrity Relations arm of Halpern PR, a lifestyle PR agency in London . There she spent 8 years building the division and running celebrity campaigns for lifestyle clients including Burberry, Tiffany & Co, Love Kylie, Gerard Darel. Cole Haan, Graff, Jo Malone, Asprey, Berry Bros & Rudd, Saab, Zegna, Virgin Limited Edition, Christian Dior, Ebel, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Tom Ford & Dolce & Gabbana Eyewear.
